This beautiful community is located on three lakes in the Northwest quadrant of the intersection of SW 122 Avenue and SW 144 Street.  Exit the Florida Turnpike at SW 152 Street and proceed West to SW 122 Avenue (Shell gas station). Turn North and proceed past Deerwood-Bonita Lakes Park on your right to the 4 way stop at SW 144 Street.  Continue through the 4 way stop and look immediately left for the main entrance and guard station.  Clubhouse and management office is located just inside the main gate, with parking to your right.

Please be prepared to show identification and state your business and the name of the homeowner you are visiting. Our security staff will contact the homeowner and obtain permission for you to enter and then issue you a 24 hour parking permit which must be displayed on your dashboard.  Visitors must park on the homeowners driveway or in guest parking. NO STREET PARKING, PARKING IN THE GRASS OR BLOCKING OF SIDEWALKS OR HYDRANTS.  If you park in the street and as such, cause an accident, you may be charged by the Police.  If you park in the street or on the common areas your car  WILL BE TOWED away without warning and the homeowner you visit may be fined for your bad behavior. Bonita Lakes fully supports the Americans with Disabilities Act and will report any offending vehicles in handicapped spaces without permits or blocking sidewalks to the Police for immediate action. $250 fine and tow away without warning.  Please read rules of vehicle operation under the Home Page "RULES"  Thank you !

Community Management:

The community is professionally managed by MIAMI MANAGEMENT COMPANY. We have a full time onsite Management Team staffing the clubhouse office weekdays from 8am. to  6pm.  Mr. Al Fontana assisted by Ms. Tere Gonzalez are here to help you with all aspects of your residency in Bonita Lakes.  You may see the MMI cleanup man riding about the community in our golf cart/trailer.  Our clean up man is a vital member of the management team, as he cares for the common grounds, clubhouse and keeps everything looking nice !  Miami Management Company provides grounds-keeping services, dues collections and managerial support to the governing Board.  We are very proud of our  professional MANAGEMENT TEAM; they are here to help you !

(Dues payments are due on or before the 26th. of the preceding month.  For example, your June payment is due by May 26th.  Late charges of $25.00 will be charged to your account if the payment is not received by close of business on the 1st. For your convenience, any correspondence, payments or ACC documents may be given to the security officer at the main entrance guard station, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.


Our community is governed by an elected Board of Directors composed of five members of the community which must be homeowners of record.  Elections are held annually.  The Board will hold an open meeting on the 4th. Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the clubhouse and all residents are urged to attend.
